The end of time.
In the book of Daniel, he was told by the angel; “But you Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” Daniel couldn’t understand the vision he saw because this prophecy points to our time. He was told to “seal the book” read Daniel 1:4, chapter 8:26. Unlike John, he was told by the angel, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.” Revelation 22:10, and chapter 1:3. “It is not blind faith to believe in Christ’s soon return. My friends; the Bible records many omens of His coming. They will occur “in divers places.” Matt 24:7.” These signs of His coming will be in evidence in the political, economic, scientific, and religious world thus making it possible for the whole of society to be aware of earth’s closing events.”
We are concerned only with the conditions that foretell Christ’s return to earth. The signs of His coming will appear in the sky, on the earth, and in the hearts of men and women. Luke 21:20-24, Jesus speaks of the destruction of Jerusalem which took place in AD 70. Verses 25-28 He said, “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring,” “Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.” “And then shall they see the Son of Man (Jesus) coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” Friends: where are we today? We now live between these two verses in the Bible 26-27.
History has taught us that the great tribulation Jesus spoke off in Matthew has already gone, “dates from AD 538 until 1798 known as the Dark Ages when there was a union of church and State. There was much persecution during that time. Public persecution ceased in 1773, 25 years before 1798. Why? This was brought about by the Reformation which gave the Bible and the gospel to the people and the opportunities for religious freedom in America.” The tribulation Matthew 24:29-30.
When did the signs in the heavens occur? Mark 13:24 said, “the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light.” “The first sign in the sky was to transpire after the days of persecution had ended and yet “in those days” or just before 1798. May 19, 1780, the sun was darkened. This is a record of history. That same night the moon took on the appearance of blood. And as predicted the greatest meteoric shown ever to be recorded in history was observed on the night of November 13, 1833. The heavens seemed ablaze over North America and as far south as Mexico and the island of Jamaica. Men became sober believing the Day of Judgment had arrived.”
“Conditions on the earth fall into five categories; political, economic, scientific, and religious physical. Political “And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars:” Matthew 24:6-7, Revelation 11:18, Joel 3:9-14. 1Thessalonians 5:2-3. Worldwide economic situation. James 5:1-6 says, “Come now, you rich man, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten.” ‘Your gold and silver are corroded and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure for the last days” “Indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.” Reading from the NKJV. “The word Sabaoth means, “hosts” this name refers specifically to God’s control over all creation.” See Romans 2:1-5.
Number 3, scientific discoveries. “many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” Daniel 12:4. “It is interesting that God designed Daniel’s prophecies would be sealed until “the time of the end.” During that period just before the end at the same time, people would begin to understand the prophecies of Daniel along with discovering great scientific knowledge.” Signs in the religious world. 2 Peter 3:3-4, the Bible says, “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last day’s scoffers, walking after their own lusts, saying where is the promise of His coming? The apostle Paul mentions 19 prevalent sins. Read 2 Timothy 3:1-5.
Jesus said there would be a lack of faith and love. Luke 18:1-8, verse 8 says, “I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of cometh, shall He find faith on earth?” “And because iniquity shall about, the love of many shall wax cold.” Matthew 24:12. Iniquity is planned sin. Micah 2:1-4. The 5 and the greatest of all signs of Christ’s coming is the worldwide proclamation of the Gospel. The Bible said, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come.” Matthew 24:14, underline the word “witness” all will hear this true gospel preached; but blessed are those who hear and obey. Verse 11, Jesus also warns against false teachers and preachers, those who preach for cent, but not sent from God to preach the truth. Get ready, the scripture said, “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.” Matthew 24-42.
The end.
